Questions boat owners ask
Is the dockside assessment really free?
Yes. We come to your boat, look her over in person and give you a detailed quote. There's no cost and no obligation.
Do I need to be there while you work?
No. As long as we can get to the boat, you don't need to be there. Just let us know about any gate codes, marina check-in or dock access ahead of time.
What do you need at the dock?
Access to water and power at your dock or marina. If either isn't available where your boat is kept, tell us at the assessment and we'll work it out.
Are you insured?
Yes, P&H Marine Detailing is fully insured.
How long does a full detail take?
Usually 1 to 3 days, depending on the size and condition of the boat. We'll give you a timeline at the assessment.
How long does a ceramic coating take, and how long does it last?
Applying it takes 1 to 3 days, depending on size and condition, including the surface correction we do first. With regular maintenance washes, the coating lasts about two years.
Do wash plans require a contract?
No contract. Choose weekly, bi-weekly or monthly visits, and change or cancel anytime.
What size boats do you work on?
From a 30-footer to a 100-foot yacht. If yours is larger, give us a call and we'll talk it through.
Do you work outside your listed service areas?
Yes, just ask. We cover South Florida from Miami Beach to Palm Beach, and we'll travel for the right job.
How can I pay?
